Effective date: July 30, 2026
Zen Shikaku (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is developed and operated by Chengdu Zen and Bit Technology Co., Ltd. This policy explains what data the App collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details. Everything below is collected automatically by the App or by the third-party services listed in Section 3.
Device and advertising identifiers. Advertising ID (IDFA) and Vendor ID (IDFV) on iOS, and equivalent identifiers on other platforms. The IDFA is only made available to our advertising partners if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Approximate location. Our advertising partners derive an approximate location (country or region level) from your IP address. The App never requests or uses precise GPS location.
Usage data. Which level you started and finished, how many moves and how long it took, whether you used a booster, which screens you opened, and similar in-game events. We use this to tune puzzle difficulty and the in-game economy.
Diagnostic data. Crash information, error logs, and basic performance data.
Purchase records. When you buy an in-app product, Apple processes the payment and tells the App which product was purchased. We store a local record of your entitlements (for example, whether you own “Remove Ads”) on your device and in your device keychain so that it survives a reinstall. We never receive or store your payment card details.
Your game progress — level, coins, boosters — is stored on your device, not on our servers.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with the following service providers, each of which processes it under its own privacy policy:
These providers may process and store data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Advertising privacy. The first time you open the App, we ask whether our advertising partners may use device data to personalize and measure ads. You can change this answer at any time from Settings → Ad Choices inside the App. Choosing “Limited Ads” does not remove ads; it signals supported partners to limit personalization and not to sell or share your data. Choosing “Limited Ads” keeps first-party analytics enabled — we still measure gameplay, difficulty and in-game economy so we can balance the game — while denying ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS). We only request Apple’s tracking permission if you choose personalized ads. You can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Removing ads. “Remove Ads” is a paid in-app purchase. It is separate from the privacy choice above and does not change what data is collected.
Deleting your data. Deleting the App removes your local game progress. To ask us to delete data held by our providers, contact us at the address in Section 8; we will forward the request to the relevant partners.
Rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — the in-app “Limited Ads” choice sends exactly that signal. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Legal bases (EEA/UK). We rely on your consent for personalized advertising. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating, balancing and securing the App for first-party analytics, non-personalized advertising, crash diagnostics, and fraud prevention. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time — see Section 8.
Zen Shikaku is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We keep diagnostic and analytics data for as long as it is useful for the purposes above, and no longer than 26 months. Advertising partners apply their own retention periods, described in their policies linked in Section 3.
We use HTTPS for all network traffic and store purchase entitlements in the device keychain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
